Name: Viktor de Masca Gender: Male Age: 28 Magic User Type: Warlock

Personality: Viktor is cynical and quite roguish. He doesn't believe in the fundamental goodness of human nature. And he tends to see altruism as either folly or deception. That is not, however, to say that he is always rude or cruel. He can be. But he'd much rather have a good time. Wine, women, song, the terrified screams of a host who awakens to find that his bed and himself are now on the ceiling. Such things are the essence of life. Powers: Primarily focused on reality manipulation. Especially practiced at effecting people's bodies and unlocking doors. He is also quite decent with cursing and more than one who attempted to slander him found their own tongues soon betraying them as they could no longer speak without revealing some humiliating or incriminating truth about themselves. Hexing is his least practiced ability. Although he can do it if pressed. Maybe. It's simply not as straightforward to him as the more specific works like curses or the alteration of reality. Skills/Talents: Alertness, Stealth, Athletics, Subterfuge, Politics, Drinking and Playing Tricks. Equipment/Weapons: An steel cane which also serves as his primary weapon in melee combat. A small dagger. Fashionable clothes. An ornate silver flask filled with vintage brandy. Bio: Viktor was born into a decadent noble family who'd all but squandered away the last of their house's wealth and made enough enemies to effectively lessen their privilege. Viktor was raised among the loss of wealth and power. And he resented his parents for it. The fact that he had inherited his father's magical abilities made him even more unwelcome among other nobility. If not for his mother's title, he would have been entirely shunned by high society. As it was, he attended a university and became adept and both magical and social manipulation. He attended the gatherings of many nobles and impressed many with wit and charm. When that failed, he resorted to little "tricks". These tricks were sometimes magical and at other times mundane. But they always left himself and the majority of others laughing cruelly at their target. As it is he is a low standing lord known for his debaucherous family and his endless shenanigans, even moreso than he is known for his magical aptitude. And he likes it just fine that way. It's easier to attend parties of higher nobility when they think of you as to preoccupied with hedonism and having a good laugh to have learnt how to turn them into toads.
