Steve was a humble man. He didn't expect a thank you for his deeds. He didn't want a parade in his honor, and he sure as hell didn't want to gloat about him being "perfect." So when she said hew as hope, it was hard to keep eye contact with her. All he wanted to do was to fight the bad guys... but her words did help. The hand on his face was calming after all that's happened today. Until the shooter was caught, and taken in to custody, that's when he won't worry, or get it off his mind. That was his thoughts until Sharon's lips touched his. It was good to feel something warm and soft, even if his lip was a bit bruised by being punched in the face a few times. "Who ever said I wanted to get rid of you?" He finally said after the kiss, giving a small smile. "So... I think we deserve some pizza, a nice movie... and I wouldn't be a good soldier if I didn't make sure you were okay everywhere. You could have a hidden injury I don't know about..." Steve said with a smile. He wasn't used to this whole flirting thing, but they deserved some time to relax for a bit until going to work at Stark Towers tomorrow.
