Having taken his time to eat, Perry was one of the last students to leave the cafeteria. He would have liked to take a bit of a walk, but there was little time left until the Headmaster’s address. His Scroll wasn’t necessary this time around given how the Main Hall stood out quite clearly, even amongst the Academy buildings. Alongside, but not with, the other stragglers he made his way over. The speech and following briefing was rather short and to the point, at least for one of them, which Perry didn’t mind at all. As they were left to their own devices now, with only the warning to be prepared for tomorrow morning, he decided an exploration of the Academy’s grounds would be a suitable way to pass the time. While he didn’t think it would take him until nightfall to do so, he figured something else to do would come up. The fact that he had stood by the wall rather than taking a seat meant Perry managed to make it out of the Main Hall ahead of the crowd. The other students managed to catch up and overtake him fairly quickly though given his leisurely pace. As the others fanned out, he picked a building at random and headed off in its direction to check it out.
