Since he, as a werewolf, fought best in a pack and was here to hone his fighting skills over anything else, he had welcomed the opportunity to work together against a more powerful foe. Besides, even as just a half demon, the devil lord’s commanding presence hadn’t escaped him. For now, he’d decided to follow his lead.

When Adrian took a battle stance, Gregor did the same and began channelling energy into his claws and fangs, gradually heating them to lethal degrees. He didn’t attack yet, however, as he was curious to see the reaction of the man they were about to fight. Besides, the chokepoint that was the cave's entrance might be very disadvantageous to them if they simply charged in.
