Sue Sue watched as the fight built up tension and the crowd started gathering. She recognized her friends, and then some, and would have gladly broken up the fight with a sonic clap but there were too many people there. She was not going to be a factor at all. Everyone was taller than her, being just 5’3”. Connor got taller too, of all people, and Sue forgot just how monstrously tall John was. John, the one that just woke up from a coma recently, Sue remembered she still needed to apologize to him, but not now. This was too much and Sue felt helpless Then a large beast came rampaging its way towards the cafeteria and it was so cool. Sue was not afraid, more interested to see more of the creature. It had come to the new girl and she was ecstatic to know more about her new schoolmate. She watched the beast in scrutiny as she took a bite of her cold food. The PA system sounded, and the students that caused the fight were asked to the principal’s office. She missed Batman – Sue found him charming under that scary demeanour. The students still distracted, Sue simply left silently to her class with Iron Fist. Iron Fist “Hello Sue, please, sit.” Sue and Iron Fist had made it a standard routine over the past few months to have sessions with each other on the control of Sue’s emotions during the usage of her power. It was during these sessions when Iron Fist exercised her by trying to control the direction and size of Sue’s sonic waves. Eventually, Sue managed to do air slices but sharply twisting her head and adjusting the volume of her headphones simultaneously. The velocity of the gust of air coupled with the shape and pressure of the particulates of said air gust made it almost sharp and could produce blunt force trauma. What was learnt during these sessions was practiced during Power Development with Mimic and Sue was a slow developer. She had to be because of the passive nature of her ability. She was still scared of what she could do if she ever lost control. She wasn’t as afraid compared to when she first arrived, but that’s only because her friends started adapting to her. No one properly understood Sue and therefore she is still a sonic bomb waiting to explode in a major human population. This was what Iron Fist and everyone feared and tried to avoid. That was why these sessions were absolutely necessary. “As usual, let us breathe in and out and then we’ll pick off where we left off.” And so they did for the next hour.
