"That's a good definition. Certainly one of the many ways to look at it." Kido giggled and pulled out a pen to scribble something down on one of the papers. "Poetry is a way of expression, most of all. Most equate this with the feeling one has at a certain moment in time." He tapped one finger against his chin thoughtfully for a moment, as if trying to find the right words before continuing. "I will not refute. The beginning of knowledge, is caught in the heart." He grinned in the least serious looking manner he could have possibly shown at the time, almost as if he had just made a joke. "Poetry is a fascinating idea, really. It has been used since ancient times to pass down stories before writing was even easily used, and even today, nursery rhymes are quoted by children who can't even read yet. They are encouraged to continue a tradition that they are not even aware of." He paused for a moment to scribble down something else. "Enough about that, though. Let's take a look at some of the useful terms in poetry. I'm going to start with an English rhyme: Humpty Dumpty!" Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall Humpty Dumpty had a great fall Four-score men and Four-score more Could not make Humpty where he was before. Pointing up at the board, Kido recited the rhyme and turned back to the class. "Now, what is this even about? It sounds silly, right? Who or what is this 'Humpty'?"
