Katelyn - Well that is partly why I am applying for scholarships as well. If I do decide to go to such a prestigious academy such as Rice with undoubtedly exorbitant tuition rates, I would prefer to have a net of cash to fall on than rely purely on student loans. 

I share a common interest with LadyBella, what did you major indeed? It must really appeal to you if earned a Masters in it.
