From the minute the Oak look-alike was done speaking, Edward had his face in a book. He was a very big bookworm and was very interested in all the materials. He wasn't even trying to get a teamate or anything, he just stared into the book he had. He didn't see why he would need a partner. Screw them, he worked best alone anyways! Let everybody else get in their teams and then convince them to let him go it alone.
