As for an overlaying plot, it will be trying to figure out why the watch has split, and where Ben Tennyson has gone.
There will be many side stories like during the series. Small plots to foil and immediate threats to deal with. I want to make it as player driven as possible and so I won't be controlling the direction of the group, we all make decisions and may often disagree. I will only take control as the plot requires. If someone has a villians they want to introduce or a small plot to play through let me know.
