Planet Orbit N-1, the Explorer As the telepathic message came through, the Tinkerer and the Hunter both stared at each other, with their peculiar way of doing so, and then used short-range communications to discuss the situation with the Captain and the Council representative that arrived with a passenger ship some far distance away in orbit. After a short conversation, it was decided to keep the Tinkerer that had originally brought in the foreign creature to go on and make contact, while another Tinkerer replaced him in the task of taking care of the dog-creature-thing. In short order, a Tinker was standing outside the door with a sort of electronic nudge-leash pointed at the alien creature, and the original Tinkerer and Hunter pair jumping off the surface of the Explorer, armed with ZGMMPes, or Zero-Gravity Mounted Maneuvering Packs. With these, the two representatives, both of which had explosives in the form of two grenades and two high-explosive charges each, just in case a message needed to be made if they were attacked inside. Probably wouldn't majorly damage anything, but it's a living creature and having an explosive go off in your belly shouldn't feel too pleasant. After a few minutes of drifting through space, the two began to feel slight gravity from the very large space-creature, and prepared themselves for what was to come. The Hunter readied his shoulder-mounted weapons, and the Tinkerer readied his thoughts and his handgun for first contact. After a moment, the Tinkerer responded. "No, they are a different kind of Angel. Ours are all-seeing of the space around us, and they are not," he assumed, "for they are closer to your form than our own. Do so lead on." With that, the three 'Angel' representatives followed the Captain to the 'General' of the police.
