Aster It hurt, and his mind was foggy. Coldness gripped his throat and wrists, shackles tying him down to the wall. His hands hanging loosely together over his head, his legs firmly pinned together by chains and his neck collared with shackles, chains connecting it to the wall and floor. He could barely move as he woke shakily. Stomach bandaged, and his shirt missing, revealing his bare upper body and his scales along his shoulders and chest. Amethyst eyes shakily glancing around, he recongized the feeling of being trapped... Chained and caged in this cell, stone like walls feeling so cold. He felt like he was freezing, even though he hardly ever felt the cold. He had tried his best to be brave... So hard to be brave for his dragon comrades... But now he was caught... Trapped... Alone ... And afraid. Little courage remained in him and his lean muscular body trembled softly. Pain striked through his large scar that now lay fully bare for everyone to view. As if to remind him of his childhood of when he was but a display trophy for hunters. Something warm touched his cheek, and at first he was confused by it as his vision slightly blurred. At first, he thought it was due to the minor hangover he had from the alcohol, but soon realized that his cheeks were wet and his eyes watery. Crying, he was crying. Aster was so afraid, and his courage was spent, the fear was just so overwhelming and he couldn't help but let the tears fall. The firewater dragon was glad none of his comrades could see his miserable state. He did quite look pitiful... Perhaps it was the knowledge that he mostly won't make it this time around. Closing his eyes, he lowered his head and simply sat there, letting his body doing whatever it wanted. Cry, sob, whimper, whatever. Struggling only caused more pain and had little ability or strength to do so. The red haired man only shifted when he heard voices from outside the cells. "Awe Draken, wondered where you were. I'd hope you could of assisted with handling that grandfather, quite troublesome." a voice belonging to the warrior who had led the capture said. "I do not get involved in such thing unless it truly involved me. Fighting dragons is only applied if that dragon plans to destroy quite a bit of land. Not like I wouldn't mind to see humans burn, but then my meal would be lost. Now I expect quite a meal for this little favor. I'll be heading home quite soon." A deep voice spoke, a familiar one at that. "It be easier if you would just tell me where the dragons hideout is." the warrior grumbled irritably. "I'm a neutral party in this. I'm not going to tell you dragon secrets, and he same in return. Just business." the deep voice spoke before footsteps were heard and a figure stepped in front of Aster's cell and entered. He had a black cloak on, but he removed his hood to reveal large curved horns and red eyes. Black scales flaking the cheeks. Aster glanced up and stiffened as he recongized the figure. A grandfather dragon.. And one he didn't particularly didn't have any favor towards. Despite wanting to question this man, his throat felt dry and he tried looking away and attempted to wipe his eyes with his bare arms. Trying to did the tears that had clung to his face. The man had jet black hair, and he was fairly tall with a muscular build. "Aster, didn't expect to see you caught. How amusing.... Thought you were too much of a coward to actually get caught. Then again, ever since that little incident, you don't really belong to anywhere.... After all you hate your own kind don't you? Oh don't try to deny it... You act polite simply because they helped you sort of fly again.. But you hate dragons all the same. Perhaps more then hunters. So a simple offer is given much like all the dragons when they get caught. Become a obiedient pet to go against your fellow species, or simply end up getting drained and cut up into little pieces. Perhaps even experimented on. After all, since your of age, hunters like attempting breeding methods to have their own little dragon eggs. Scientific idiots of course haven't succeeded. I'm merely here as a little deal. Harder to get your favorite food now a days without much fuss." the man mused casually . Aster glanced toward him, but said nothing and just looked away . He couldn't find words, and he couldn't stop shaking. The armored man walked over to the caged teens and hummed ever so slightly. "Now after catching you two... I hope you consider your options. You can either cooperate with us, or not and face the consequences." the man mused. --- Myrtle Myrtle hummed as she thought over these machines the hunters came up with . She hadn't seen too much on them, considering it was a more hush hush ordeal, but she had gotten some glances on them and heard rumors. None of them sounded very good for the dragon side of things. "I'm not so sure, but I know they must be powerful. They claim they took down a grandfather dragon in a single shot. And are planning to sell such weapons to whomever is willing to pay a lot. Tensions been a bit high currently in the kingdom." The human engineer answered, collecting her inventions and reorganizing them all to fit perfectly on her body when she was set down to the large pile. Gently patting the top of the golden orb before it entered her gauntlet. Listening to the story, she eagerly tapped in notes in her gauntlet screen, finding such history of dragons absolutely fascinating. Though she snapped out of her energetic attitude as Siabel was basically recruited to go rescue the trapped dragons. "I'll go to! I know my way around the city and I'm quite good and using all sorts of machines, figuring my way into the hunters lair will be tricky enough. And I suggest sneaking as much as possible to avoid outright confrontation. So I can probably take down whatever software they have guarding their little lair so we can avoid immiediete detection." she said with a bright smile, seeming ready to march on into this. Although she still seemed cheerful and upbeat, she was worried for Aster and felt it was a bit of her responsibility to help him. Of course, panicking over it will not help the situation. Her strength was her wits and panic only caused to lose wits so it was better to remain calm in such situations.
