The first thing that ran through Ari's mind as his arm looped around her frame, was to slap the bejesus out of this strange boy with the beautiful blue eyes. His hand was subtly nearing her ass and she so desperately wanted to kick him where the sun didn't shine. Still, despite her face flushing a brilliant red and her blood reaching boiling point, she managed a tight smile towards the now lonesome girl in front of them. The girl's grin had fallen to a distinct frown and her eyes indicated genuine disappointment. Surely she'd longed to have some sort of sexual encounter with this man, but as Ari would have predicted, he wanted to flee this little potential fling, clearly not at all interested. “Hey, baby, I missed you,” she cooed, puckering her lips up at the boy. “I was beginning to wonder where all you'd gone.” To put a bit of depth into her character, she made an effort to ignore the other girl, narrowing her eyes at her at every mentioning of her presence. 'Emma' found no interest in her evidently, so to play the role, Ari rested her palm on the boy's chest and leaned in, huffing delightfully at the smell of his scent. After the girl had gone and the boy had distanced himself, Ari laced her arms over her chest, giving him a halfhearted chance to explain what had just occurred. His name was Scott, and he claimed that ultimately, that'd been a misshapen. It was beneath her, and she wondered why'd she'd helped him in the first place, but as she simmered down, those raging thoughts settled, too. At his proposal to look for Xavier's institute, Ari shrugged, a gesture that although it wasn't her first choice, it was better to be alongside another person who knew just as much as she did. “Ari, by the way,” she told him. “I'm pretty sure the institute is just up here. I was heading for it right before I met you and Barbie back there.”
