So far the rest of the trek has been rather dull. Not that she would complain about not encountering anymore grimm, mind you, but it only made her feel like they were walking straight into an ambush. Schwarz noticed fairly quickly that Coral seemed to notice a lot more than she did. It looked to her like tentacles-for-head had some kind of sixth sense or something. That made her feel a bit easier about their impending doom, but all that was nullified when they heard the sounds of combat around them. "Looks like the others aren't as lucky." she said in a half whisper. She felt inclined to help, but the mission went first. "We should go grab the relic, then turn back and..." she stopped as she crossed through a dense bush and found out the forest ended. In front of them was a clearing with a ruined, overgrown temple. "Well, this looks like it." she commented and checked the skies, not wanting to be caught in the open clearing. Satisfied with the blue emptiness above, she marched across. It looked like the relics were chess pieces, and not many were left. What baffled her though was the fact that there seemed to be twice as many as there should be. As she came closer, she recognized two bishops and queens. Coming closer, she eyeballed the bishop piece. "hmm, bishop. Strong support piece. Reliable. It'd be nice to have someone like that." she commented for herself, and then her arm went and grabbed one of the black queens as if there was no other option. "But alas, the most valuable piece on the battlefield seems like the better description for us, no?" she said with a smug smile as she turned back to her partner, waving the queen piece in front of her.
