Skepic, I post them here if I find them good, which means its accepted. You dont actually post the apps here. In respect to the disappearance of British PM Harold Fletcher, there is no PM of the United Kingdom. He is instead known as "Minister Regent" It has been confirmed by Parliament that upon the reclaimation of the United Kingdom and as such the possible confirmation of Harolds status, the title will be changed back to Prime Minister. Military: Highly advanced and known for their prowess, the forces of the UK are a force to be reckoned with, even if they do not match the size of several other super powers. They have some of the most advanced equipment on the market and each soldier goes through a training regime that has produced soldiers whose quality is rarely matched on the battlefield. They are not a force to be trifled with, to be sure. Branches: UK Army Royal Air Force Royal Navy Royal Marines United Kingdom Special Forces (Including the Extra-Atmospheric forces, who have control over the UK's two kinetic bombardment platforms) Economy: The United Kingdom has the 3rd-largest national economy (If it reclaimed it's home lands it would be the second largest) in the world measured by nominal GDP and 3rd-largest in the world measured by purchasing power parity (PPP). On paper, the UK economy comprises of (in descending order of size) the economies of the constituent countries of England, Canada, Australia, Ireland, Scotland, New Zealand, Wales and Jamaica. (The Richest Oversea Territory, Hong Kong sits in between Australia and Ireland) In reality, the entire British isles are under foreign control. In recent years, the UK has alternated between being the 2nd and 3rd largest exporter in the world and the 3rd and 4th largest importer, and had the 2nd-largest stock of inward foreign direct investment and the 3rd-largest stock of outward foreign direct investment. The UK is one of the world's most globalised economies. The service sector dominates the UK economy, contributing around 68% of GDP; the financial services industry is particularly important. The UK aerospace industry is the second- or third-largest national aerospace industry depending on the method of measurement. The pharmaceutical industry plays an important role in the economy and the UK has the third-highest share of global pharmaceutical R&D. The automotive industry is also a major employer and exporter. The UK economy is boosted by oil and gas production from it's various countries and oversea territories, including massive reserves found under the British Antartic Territory On paper GDP: 34 trillion Real GDP: 28 trillion Foreign Policy: The UK has a relatively peaceful foreign policy, at least for the moment. It knows it needs assistance to retake the British isles, a vital piece both symbolically and economically (the British Isles possesses a larger economy than any other holding of the UK, due to the unbelievable economic boom pre and, interestingly, during WW3) History:(Obvious) History (Was forced to slice out huge chunks of my history because the UK it's self got nicked and some of it didn't make sense without it. As a result, the formation of the new UK, which was spread out over a decade, has been compressed down massively.): Following the massive resurgence of the British economy in the mid prior to WW3, the United Kingdom entered a new age of prosperity. Upon the outbreak of WW3, the British economy had reached 4th place in the world, behind the USA, China and India, and having overtaken Germany and France, though they were snapping at it's heels. Throughout WW3, the Commonwealth of Nations formed a mutual defence agreement known as the "Commonwealth Defensive Act". This has been considered by many scholars to be what brought several of the Commonwealth nations closer together and thus was instrumental in the formation of this new United Kingdom, a union formed from necessity and conveneince, just like it's predecessor. The United Kingdom it's self joined the war on the side of the USA, and through this prised Hong Kong away from China's grasp. The casualties in the battle for Hong Kong were great, both in life and structure. It took the United Kingdom three years to rebuild Hong Kongs industry and return it to pre WW3 levels. The war raged on and one by one the countries of the world fell into darkness. In this time, the United Kingdom was formed in a new style, marking it's boundries more along the lines of the British Empire. For all intents and purposes this new United Kingdom was a federation of several Commonwealth countries, an evolution of the idea of Imperial Federalism that had been dorment for over a century. Upon the end of WW3, the United Kingdom thought it had reached a new golden age. They intervened in Zimbabwe and overthrew the dictatorship in place there, installing democracy and making the new nation a 'Protectorate', essentially giving the crown massive influence over the countries politics. They have been guiding it towards integration with the The Sub-Saharan International Congress, and are known to be arranging a referendum in the country. It wasn't to last. The European Consolidation officially took over peacefully. In reality it flew in the face of democracy and painted the House of Commons red. A snide remark from Nigel Farage, who has long since vanished in the aftermath of the take over of the United Kingdom, sums it up "Euroskepticism wasn't in short supply in the United Kingdom for the EU, anyone who believes it disappeared over night and the Brits were open to the EC is an idiot" Ever since, the Crown has attempted to enlist aide from other superpowers and has petitioned the EC for the return of their country. The UK also wants to recover the Falkland islands, and has likewise attempted to petition the URAS for their return. The UK has not stated any military intention to act on either, though it's commonly thought that they would be willing to go to war over the old UK if need be Foes:(Factions or other nations your nation hates) European Consolidation: The Crown is working to reclaim the British isles from the boots of the European Superstate. URSA: The crown is working to reclaim the Falkland Islands from the boots of the URSA Population:(Population): On paper population: 410 million Real population 305 million Other:(Insert suggestions here, or facts about your nation that don't fit elsewhere in the app if you want) There has been some small shift in the politics of an organisation the UK is associated with. Fiji has become a commonwealth realm again, officially meaning that the Queen is it's head of state and ending it's period as a republic. Otherwise, most of the Commonwealths politics have remained the same, save with India having departed upon the formation of the Asian Federation, as citizens from other parts of the Federation had no wish to join. There are several organised groups of people in the former United Kingdom and it's captured oversea territories who await the word for rebellion, if need be. These are paticularly large in the British isle, with a shaky truce being formed between Royalist organisations such as the BIA (British Independence Army.) and BDL (British Defense League) with Republican organisations the NIRA (New Irish Republican Army) or the BRV (British Republican Volunteers) Commonwealth Realms: Antigua and Barbuda (Commonwealth Realm) The Bahamas (Commonwealth Realm) Barbados (Commonwealth Realm) Grenada (Commonwealth Realm) Papua New Guinea (Commonwealth Realm) Saint Kitts and Nevis (Commonwealth Realm) Saint Lucia (Commonwealth Realm) Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (Commonwealth Realm) Solomon Islands (Commonwealth Realm) Tuvalu (Commonwealth Realm) Fiji (Commonwealth Realm)
