Personality: Purah is the angel of forgetfulness, so she has a habit of forgetting things as well as making others forget things in her presence. Despite being a low-ranking angel, she is still an angel and so she has her moments of divine grace. She is a caring and loving individual and despite some of her comrades' more hardline approach to dealing with mortals and daemons she tries to be as lenient as possible towards everyone. She hates to resort to violence and/or possesion partially because she is rather clumsy with magic and divine powers and is likely to hurt herself or others when attempting to use any of the more dangerous magics. She has a close friendship with the significantly more powerful angel Araqiel, whom she views as an older brother. Purah also has the habit of scrawling various notes across her body in an attempt to thwart her natural forgetfulness.
 
Abilities: Being the Angel of Forgetfulness she has the power to make others forget periods of time either temporarily or permanently. Even her aura has been known to make people temporarily forget what they are doing or where they are. She also has the power to revive, heal most wounds and possess a body.
 
History: Although she has the seemingly inane dominion over memories, it is actually relied upon quite frequently by the upper class angels when dealing with pesky mortals. They use her to make important mortals forget damaging events, traumatic experiences and other memories that might interfere with the agenda of heaven. She is also used as a sort of 'do over machine' for when meetings with mortals go wrong. However what the other angels like to ignore is that if you make someone forget too many things, parts of them start being forgotten as well. It always pains her to have to torture unwitting mortals in this fashion as they often have no idea they are being tortured. Because of this, Purah has been trying for the past century to be assigned a mortal to watch over so she would be exempt from (most of) the machinations of the higher angels. For the better half of that century her requests had been ignored on the grounds of "Lack of experience and control over her own powers." 

Finally she was able to befriend an angel skilled in the ways of divine magic, Araqiel, and convince him to help her improve her powers. Progress was slow and unimpressive. She would grasp a concept one lesson and then forget it completely the next. Eventually she made significant progress based on muscle memory alone and was approved for assignment of a mortal to watch over. Finally after decades of lessons and decades of waiting she was assigned her first mortal to look after....
