So, as you know fallen are angels that did something to get cast out of heaven... Some were cast out because of lust, others for envy, some for greed. As a fallen angel your wings will have been 'clipped' so to speak, you still have them but they've gone grey and the feathers are falling out... After a while you'll no longer be able to fly and once all the feathers are gone you die even though you don't age... The process takes about 100 years from the time you were cast out UNLESS you decide to start stealing souls like a demon, in which case your wings will turn black and you'll slowly become one. A lot of the power behind your abilities is gone, unless you start swallowing souls, you still have them but they're weaker. Fallen can dally with demons but usually other angels shun them even though some spend their entire time on the mortal coil trying to do something, anything, that will get them forgiven and accepted back into grace upon their death.

The ups to being a fallen is that you don't have to play by the rules of the game like other angels do, it's not your problem to maintain the balance anymore and you aren't restricted by what is 'right'. Basically, you can do what you want when you want because all you have to worry about at this point are other angels or pissing off demons... and if you die you know where you're going so who cares about trying to be 'good'. Why not just enjoy yourself... unless you're one of the ones beginning to regret falling. Then, there is plenty of reason to be trying to fix things, to prove you deserve another shot... You look human to other humans, aside from if the light hits your eyes, they tend to glow and you can hide your wings by folding them up tight against your body and making them invisible... You can't hide what you are as well as a full angel or a full demon, so if you're not careful a human without Sensitivity can see you for what you are... even if they don't know what that is.

Nifty powers would be being able to inflict a specific emotion through touch, most angels use this for peace... tranquility, joy, bliss... However, you have both sides of the spectrum now and can also cause feelings of guilt, envy, lust, and anger... but it's only a nudge towards that emotion not an all out blast of it. :) You can still heal yourself and others. You can still cause people to fall asleep with a touch. You can create your own too.
