Well. I mean.

I don't see what the huge fuss is about.

He wrote a lot of really good episodes - like Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead and Blink. 

Plus he kind of [i]defined[/i] Eleven's era. And I like Eleven. Sure, looking back on it, the overarching storyline to season 5 didn't make a ton of sense, but I liked most of the rest of his work - and I don't understand the criticisms against Clara, either. She's certainly one of the best companions of New Who. Plus, I like season 8 so far, and I'm interested to see where this whole heaven plot goes. 

Oh, and the 50th anniversary special was great, too, I think.

[i]But, I mean[/i], I also liked Adric, and no one likes Adric, so, I guess that invalidates my opinion completely.
