[Spruce] After Celes evolved, much to my surprise, and then used her light chain move again, I grabbed the chains, and formed a Void Bomb in front of me, grabbing that with the chains. I then proceeded to smash the charmeleon with my Void Bomb attack repeatedly, occasionally making sure to hit him with the chains as well. I don't even know how many times I hit the guy with that attack, but, on the last one, I made sure to smack him into the abyss that he created. The charmeleon dropped the Void Crystal before flying into the abyss, courtesy of my new, temporary hammer. I finished my attack, and dropped down to the ocean floor, too tired to move, yet, energetic enough to speak. "The void crystal... he dropped the thing... place it where it belongs," I manage to say before falling down on my face due to exhaustion. I still had a bit of energy left, and I noticed Kamina, and added "Thanks, everyone..." after that, I couldn't really do anything but see the destruction that the charmeleon and his vulpix cohort caused in their... well, I'll assume it was greed. The oddity, I'll just call it that until I come up with a better name, was an affront to every law of gravity and nature that existed. There were giant landmasses dotting the area, and floating or obeying some twisted laws of physics, and acting as both a floor and a wall, or, at least, that's what it appeared to be doing, of course, not to mention the strange stone and or steel structures that occupied this oddity. Only some of them were actually in the ground, and only some of those floors were actually on top of the previous floor, which made for some strange-looking, and probably even evil-looking buildings. I honestly hoped that returning the crystal will solve this mess, and make it normal again. --- [Anthony] Thankfully, light eventually came to the basement, revealing a really skinny, and almost withered-looking Darkrai in front of me. "P...please... I need... to escape..." he pleads with me in that same raspy voice as usual. I shake my head, saying "I won't fall for your tricks, Darkrai!" Knowing that he was probably capable of illusions, or some other trickery that he might be using to make us help him out. I prepared to use counter again, but... no additional attack came. Instead, Darkrai flew out of the door, forcing me to try and fail to follow him. I did manage to catch a glimpse of him escaping, and once I made my way over to one of the houses, I saw him, in what I now know is a resturant, with a giant order of food... or... what used to be a giant order of food. "Alright, you've had your food, now, prepare yourself, Darkrai, I'll be the one to take you down!" I shout, in an attempt to intimidate him. "Hm?" He simply asked. I then answer "The fight, remember?" Darkrai simply shrugs, and I am somehow joined by a now-awake Terra and Daniel. "Hey, weren't you two in some sort of evil nightmare?" Terra nods, and answers "Yes, I was. It was one where I enter this exact town, was immediately shouted at by the elder, and then thrown down into the basement with no escape and no food... sound familiar yet?" I look off to the side, and Daniel adds "I had the same dream... maybe he wasn't really trying to hurt anyone, he was just trying to get out of here," but... Darkrai was the greatest evil, the one obviously evil pokemon... right? Something didn't quite add up here, if he was supposed to be a great, evil pokemon.
