Han pointed to the other corner. There was a lever, with a wire leading from under it into a small hole. He didn't know if it was the best idea to pull an unknown lever after being kidnapped and sent into a maze, but it seemed to be a good idea compared to fighting the beast.

Then he saw what it was hiding. It was some kind of orb. He could sense energy coming off of it just by seeing it. He wanted to get a closer look, but he knew he would blow everyone's cover.

He pointed at it. "It's guarding an orb. It looks important" he whispered.

He knew someone would have to decide on the lever, or the monster. But he didn't feel up for possibly causing the destruction of everyone in the group, so he waited for the others to react.
