I was going to let this thread die. But. Henry did not understand the concept of daylight savings time until I explained it to her just now. And by "understanding the concept" I don't even mean the reasoning behind why daylight savings time exists - I just mean she didn't get the fact that we move our clocks ahead an hour once a year and also move them back once a year. Her excuse for her ignorance was, "I told you, I've only read digital clocks my whole life!" as she has explained to me that she can't tell time on an analog clock. ...Which is a whole other thing, but it also doesn't explain how she wouldn't know this shit. I mean, digital clocks change, too. And, like, I'm fairly certain most cell phones switch automatically, but we've already established that she's super technology-sheltered so I'm sure a lot of the digital clocks she lives with at home have to be adjusted manually, so, I just... I do not understand how this is a thing. I'm sorry. I know no one really likes this thread. But I just had to tell someone about this. @_@
