Yeah, it kind of stands to reason Estermere's going to get #rekt if anyone sieges it. Even assuming the town can see the damn sods off, the effort, resources and manpower required will be immense. It will have a lasting effect on everyone. Hell, even a war in general will sabotage trade routes and recruit peasant levies - there will be notable differences.
