Name: Captain (Commander to higher ranking people) Herald Dennison (Capt. Den) Species: HumanGender: MaleAffiliation: Galactic EmpireAppearance: Equipment:Medpac (attached to a Portable Scanner which scans for life signs and droids) Background: Even as a young boy Herald loved playing games where he had to think, but no, sadly he never became good at Chess. He could play, but he was never perfect. He preferred checkers. It was faster and still allowed for pauses. He's always worked with quantity rather than quality. In his early years he lived on Tattooine, grabbing scraps from the Mos Espa runs for Pod Racing and would sell or keep some. He saved up until he would get a speeder and do more jobs for scrap dealers. He was smart and patient. Eventually he had obtained a small transport and did trade runs between Datooine and Tattooine, until around 32 BBY, where he saw an opportunity to sign up into the Galactic Empire. He was a soldier until late 31 BBY and transferred to crew duty where he would work his way up and show battle promise to the higher ups. Reason for Joining the Empire/Alliance: Heralded always had a great knack for strategy and tactics while in a ship and he always loved it. He decided to join the Empire because it would have been entirely easier to gain command of troops and crews and gain a ship of his own. And with his intelligence he knew he'd be thrown into war, but he knew how to survive. He didn't have a liking for killing living creatures, but as long as he had his ship and was on the winning side, it didn't matter. Ready for review
Naval officers were typically always naval officers, or at least fighter/transport/bomber pilots who moved up the ranks. There was never really any switch over from the Imperial army corps to the Imperial Navy, also just so you're aware with your age your age you've been a naval officer for about 25 years as we're in 5BBY just so you know, I mean I'm okay with that just that you know you'll be elderly and will have been in the Clone Wars.
