If you look at laughter on surface level, yeah, but I feel that if you look at it on a deeper scale, it becomes more significant. Laughter isn't restricted to happiness, but the internal laughter that allows you to manage life without losing yourself. Plus, a large purpose of the Element of Laughter was that the bearer caused [i]other[/i] people to laugh. It's the Element of being selfless, and uplifting others even when they're down.
