Please allow me to share what I had in mind. My character would be a member of an ancient order who have been driven by the power of information. This organisation uses the archive of knowledge to maintain a balance in the world. They are either good nor evil in their pursuit; however, have the single goal of protecting the planet and its people from a catastrophic event. In the modern age information became even more important. In the age of heroes and villains it was the identity of those heroes and villains thats become the focus of this group. Five weeks ago a devastating betrayal resulted in a select number of heroes identities being stolen from the vault of knowledge. As a member of this organisation my character has been charged with recovering the traitor; thereby, protecting those heroes identity. My character has tracked the traitor down to Greenfield. I will be playing both the traitor and the character chasing him. My plan would be to have the traitor rebrand himself as a villain himself with the goal of using the knowledge he stole to help rally a group of villains under his command with the promise that they will be able to finally kill their arch nemesis. The character chasing after this new villain will have to turn to the super heroes of Greenfield to assist in taking down the villain. Something they will have to do if they want to protect their identity and those close to them. Hopefully that makes some more sense?
