Don't worry about it - sometimes with online RP, I've found I have to harass people a little sometimes. It's not like tabletop where it just flows, as you're not all together and doing things in an immediate 'there and then' fashion. 
And without the email reminders at the moment, there's nothing to keep people appraised of what's happening, or give reminders and urgency to check the site as often.
