The tone of his voice did not go unnoticed with Anise. She didn't particularly like it, but she couldn't see a way to open it without hurting herself. "Very well." She passed it off to the stranger. "Since you asked so nicely, you have my permission to use it. What is your name?" She maintained her royal demeanor even though in reality she was shaking inside. [i]Daddy'll come and save you like he always does.[/i] Those were the words going through her head.

She looked down the path. "We need to get out of here. I need to get back to my Daddy and fiance." She pointed down the path. "This is the only path out of here. I don't want to get any dirtier than I already am, so someone should check to make sure it's clear." She remembered reading that unused paths tended to have roots and branches growing over them. Then she heard Arin call out towards the darkness, which caused her to jump.

She cried out nervously and then closed her eyes. One. Two. Three. She then reopened them and glared at Arin. "Don't scare me like that!"
