Yvette stood at her window, the wind blowing gently as she opened it. She just needed some fresh air. With a deep inhale, she told herself to calm down; it had been a rough few weeks. But she had made the decision now to get out and try to meet someone new. Whether it was for tonight, for a month, or forever, she was opening herself up tonight. Finding her boyfriend in bed with her bestfriend was not something she expected to get over. She knew that now; some wounds don't heal, but she was telling herself now that it's all right. It hurts losing two people close as they were, and though you don't exactly get better, you move on. It's just not going to be easy. But what really is these days? Yvette threw open her laptop and turned on her favorite playlist and started getting ready to go out. It was about an hour before the club opened, and she had her heart set on going out. It wasn't really her scene, going to a club, but she was open for new things. She smeared on her makeup, a bit heavier than usual for theatrics, and sang along to some of her favorite songs. She danced around a little, stopping when a bright blush slapped her in the face when she remembered her window was open. After she finished getting ready, she stepped outside, keys in hand. She gazed at her car, but as the wind blew, she realized she was just in the mood to walk. So she stuffed the keys in her purse and made her way to the club. It wasn't too far, maybe a ten minute walk. She soon arrived and awaited in line for the bouncer to let her in, ID out and her excitement growing with the blaring sound within the club.
