Steve smiled at her words, it seemed as though they got embarrassed at different things, but they never seemed to think differently of each other. He walked in on her trying to pull out the cork, trying to bandage herself, dancing along to her music, and every time he thought that she was one in a million, and he was lucky enough to be drinking wine and eating pizza with her. He took the glass of wine, giving a nod and making a small toast to her. "Here here." Steve took a sip of the wine. One of the many side effects of the serum was his ability to never be intoxicated, no matter how much he drank... It probably didn't make him a party animal, but it was useful when he is intoxicated with poison, or having to go through chemical gases on the job with very little damage. He moved closer to Sharon as she leaned on the counter. "Not bad. Glad I kept it..." Steve said, bending down a tad bit to give her a soft kiss on the lips. He also took another glance at her shoulder. He knew it wasn't serious, and it was treated, but he just couldn't help but make absolutely positive she was alright. He was so worried that he probably didn't tend to his wounds that much. He had the doctors for Shield check him out, but they couldn't mend bruises, or heal a black eye. He was happy that both of them were in good condition. He put slices of the pizza on plates, handing her one. "Bon apetite." The thought of going to "work" tomorrow at Stark Towers soon left his mind as it was more focused on the beautiful blonde, and the night they had ahead of him. It'll probably end like any other night with Sharon, with talking and laughing, and a lot of kissing and Steve bringing another movie that he has yet to watch. And then he would usually go back to his apartment much later in the night. Him being all about respect, did not want to intrude on Sharon's privacy, therefore he never spent the night with Sharon in his arms. As much as he would love that, there was always that fear of Shield making a surprise visit to their apartments, and again, he wasn't the type of guy to just invite himself to that. But who knows? Today was a bit of a realization that Sharon meant so much to Steve. He was a man of morals, and doing what was right, but after losing so many people in his life, he might forget all of those things to protect the people that mean the most to him.
