Alphonse put his glass back onto the table with a thud.

[i]Hm.[/i] He thought. [i]Gotta love breakfast.[/i]

He looked up around him and noted he'd finished his Tower fairly quickly. All of the other students and teachers were only halfway through, and he'd just demolished about a few inches of solid bacon. He'd also noted that his digestion process had started and he had a slight white glow, which was slowly increasing in intensity. In a few minutes it would peak, and stay like that for an hour or two. Then it would slowly diminish and his digestion process would finish in about the same time as a normal human.

Alphonse looked around the room a little noting some minor details. The second headmaster was nowhere to be found and it looked like all the students were in the dining hall.

[i]That student looks late.[/i] He observed.

He saw a girl almost fully white except for her eyes which were almost pitch black. She had the look of someone in a new place trying to get her bearings.

[i]She'll get used to it.[/i] He thought. [i]Probably.[/i]

So far on his many travels around the world, he had found that unusual people had the easiest time adjusting to a new environment. In the Academy for the Gifted, he had been told that all of the people who are sent or travel there to study were somewhat unusual so he supposed that all of the people here adjusted pretty easily. Speaking of unusual people, he would probably be classified as one as well, considering how he was glowing right now.

He shrugged, accepting that the world he was in was really unusual and he probably should stop thinking about it.

That is until what looked like a blood soaked serial killer popped out from under the table, grinning playfully.

[b]"Who here missed me~?"[/b] He/She/It/somethingorother said.

[i]Well.[/i] Alphonse thought. [i]Speak of the devil, and the devil he shall appear.[/i]

[b]"I'm sure you would be one to be missed, considering the mess you're making, but I am not one who would miss you."[/b] Alphonse replied. [b]"Perhaps we should get acquainted."[/b]
