Anise tapped her foot impatiently. She wanted to get moving, while the others insisted on diddling around this scary place. She was terrified to explore on her own since she had no idea where to even start, and she hated to be alone anyways. She watched the little girl that fell on her earlier playing around with the metal plate they had been laying on before. The owl flew down and landed on Randold's shoulder, and it was much bigger up close. Anise laughed lightly for a little bit as the spectacle was a bit silly, but then the girl pointed at the tree saying something about it being here and Anise instinctively stepped so Randold was between her and the tree and stepped up close to him as he felt to be someone safe. She heard him speak something to himself, but she couldn't quite hear. "C-can we go now?" She had a hard time keeping her voice steady, but in spite of everything she did her damnedest to try. She found it difficult to breath because the fear gripped her so tightly, but even then she tried to keep herself from crying anymore. She traced her finger over a monarch butterfly pin on the left shoulder of her dress. "Remember, even if I'm far away and you're scared, I'll always find you and protect you. Keep this with you at all times and remember it will always keep you safe when I'm not near." Those were the words Daddy had told her when he gave her this pin, and ever since she has kept it on her.
