Being a sharpshooter was different in the era of miniaturized MSes. Even with a weapon like the Variable Speed Beam Rifle the smaller size of the targets (comparatively speaking, obviously) and the ever-increasing speed and mobility shown with every subsequent generation of machines meant that a static shooter attacking from exceedingly long ranges proved inadequate for hitting anything other than powered down objectives. Sharpshooters had to match the enemy move for move and predict the enemy's positioning or force them into a misstep so as to land a killshot while avoiding the enemy's beam shield. So, rather than simply firing from that distance the F91 Gundam burst from the ground, flying towards Angelo with its right VSBR slung under the armpit and its beam shield still active. Leo had opened a comm channel to Angelo, purely in order to taunt him and make him lose his cool. "Sorry about this Angelo, but you're kind of a terrible boss. You Zeek freaks don't get tired of losing miserably do you?". Moving in a stilted evasive pattern to make himself hard to hit, Leo fired a trio of regular beam shots in such a way as to force Angelo to use his i-field to defend himself, setting him up for a killing blow. Normally, Angelo should be able to see through and dodge the all three, but with the damage he'd taken and his rage, Leo hoped he'd just turn on his i-field and gloat over his defenses. The fourth shot Leo fired, however, was different. It was thinner and far faster than the others, an accelerated particle beam capable of piercing straight through beam shields and mobile suit i-fields, a function of the F91 that Leo had taken great pains to keep hidden from Angelo and his crew. And it was aimed, with deadly accuracy, right where he expected the Rozen Zulu's cockpit to be.
