Lux's hair is naturally black, but she dyed it purple. Some of her hair turned white from an accident during her magic training. She has a ring piercing on her lip, courtesy of her father.[/hider]

Personality: 
An avant garde by nature, Lux is someone who can't be tied down by rules or tradition. Impulsive, reckless, and explosive are often words associated with her. She's also steadfast, determined, and hard working. It takes some time to get in her good side, but it's well worth the effort.

History:
Born to a blacksmith, Lux grew up surrounded by weapons. She learned how to wield a sword at a young age, taught by both her father and her two brothers. She continued to train hard everyday as she grew up, learning various techniques and styles to fight. She also learned how to craft them, marveling at the beauty that could be created from something ugly. Lux's mother, a magi working for the noble family, expected Lux' brothers to continue her legacy. She had been devastated when neither of the boys showed any signs of inheriting the magical ability. She hadn't expected for Lux to be the one to gain the power to control an element.

Lux's hatred for tradition grew apparent when she found out her ability. Unlike most who discovered it at a young age, Lux had only tapped into that part of her when she'd reached the age of twenty. She was already working as a blacksmith and quite adept at the sword, so she never really had much of an interest with magic. It seemed, though, that her mother would have none of that. For a year, Lux's mother took her away from civilization to cultivate her abilities. A year of harsh, daily training allowed Lux to grasp her magic better, and to develop a new found acceptance for it.
