Nikki returned his smile with one of her own, a simple closed lip smile as she watched Quill walk out the door leaving her alone with her thoughts. It was surprising to see him being so nice to her. Especially after she was such a grouchy to him before; but if you were in her shoes could you blame her? No, no you can’t. If you were being hunted by people, trusting anyone was hard. Probably the only people that she could trust would be the police but then she’d have to do all those things that are supposed to come with her title of Princess, but The Guardians of the Galaxy were kind of police… but wouldn’t force her to play the royal role… at least she hoped not, if they found out that is. It took a while for Nikki to gather up the courage to leave the room she had found and venture out into the unknown-yet-known people who are now the Guardians of the Galaxy. Taking her sword with her, she walked down the small hallway and into the kitchen/dining room area. The ship bounced with music and she found herself bobbing her head along much like she had done the first time that she had ever stepped foot on Quill’s ship. The large man sat at the table cleaning blades with a calm manner but still looked intense. Nikki took a seat at the table, watching the large man for a moment before he finally looked at her. “May I use some of your cleaner and sharpener?” There was a simple gesture from large man set Nikki to work. What Drax wasn’t expecting was just how man how many blades Nikki began to put upon the table. He had seen her sword and assumed she’d have one or two but by the end of her unloading she was at about twelve blades upon herself. His eyes expanded just slightly before going back to his own work. The surprise was just enough to make Nikki smile. Most people never thought she could have as much on her as she did but boy did she prove them wrong!
