It was like destruction was the only thing that the Empire knew how to do. First Nomis explodes The Empire’s warehouse and then he blames it on the Unbound Hearts .Now he speaks more propaganda to reassure the citizens of Hollow Bastion that the empire was not at fault, even being so bold as to tell them that they should go to their homes and let the empire protect them. Yeah, that got under Cerden’s skin just a bit. He knew exactly how The Empire was and they wanted to control, not protect people. Standing on top of a building, Cerden heard and saw it all. He heard Nomis’ words and he saw his brother get into a car with a teen. Cerden was sure that was his son. He didn’t have time to worry about them as they had left in a car and were out of Cerden’s range. Well, at least for the time being they were. Cerden would then notice that not only had Hollow Bastion been overrun by heartless, but machines of Nomis’ Taint Metal were also present. By the looks of it, the Unbound Hearts were holding their own against the enemy forces. However, Cerden knew it better than anyone that the only way for the taint machines to be properly destroyed was to destroy the Heart Gear. Obviously the Unbound Hearts did not know about that. At least, not yet they didn’t. Leaping from the top of the building, Cerden’s body was heading skull-first as he was upsidedown. However, at the right moment, Cerden’s body half-flipped, and he landed one knee on the ground, with his fist on it, hair forward. He then looked up, hair whipping back, and he would see one of the teens take a sword and turn their arm into steel. Cerden had to admit that it was mighty impressive, especially the way the teen was able to manhandle the heartless and machines. Still, Cerden knew that the machines would still be a problem. Perhaps not the ones that the teen destroyed, but more would come. Cerden eyed the teen who was among company of other teens. He smiled at the fact that they were so young and yet, as he looked at them, they had a certain aura about them that spoke the future of warriors. Cerden saw a bright future for those kids. Still, even as he wanted to leave them be, Cerden knew that he couldn’t do that. He would approach them casually, clapping his hands, no doubt they would take notice. “I must applaud you. That was some mighty fine work you did to those machines.” Cerden said smiling at the group of teens. “However, if you think that they will stay down for much longer, you are sadly mistaken.” Cerden informed them. “They are, after all, my brother’s own creations.”
