A short bespectacled girl rushed into the building. "S-sorry I'm late!" Kaede announced, panting heavily. Running, well, athletic activity in general wasn't her strongest suit. She paused for a moment to catch her breath before continuing. "I would've been here earlier, but my friends needed some help rescuing a kidnapped princess from a dragon."

This explanation for her tardiness was given completely straight-faced, which was understandable when one considered that it [i]was[/i] technically true. She honestly didn't see the part about it being in a video game as worth mentioning though. Without another word to anyone and without making eye contact with any of her co-workers, the teen moved to a corner, opened her school bag and pulled out a Nintendo 3DS.

Then, something occured to her. She looked up from the screen at her employer. "Toshiko-san? If you're down here...do we have a case? Is a powerful sorceress trying to collapse time on itself? An evil emperor out for world domination? A clown?"
