 pays attention to detail, and plans meticulously. His loyalty is hard-earned, and all but impossible to regain if lost. Forgiveness is difficult for him to give, and even when he can forgive, he never forgets. He keeps his anger under a tight lid, controlling it and using it to his advantage, refocusing when he can’t. Reserves his innermost thoughts and secrets for only those he trusts with his life. When it comes to his girls, his tight lid comes off and he can become rather savage and over protective, becoming violent within the blink of an eye should the situation call for it.

Born an illegitimate child to a northern Irish Businessmen whose name he doesn't remember, Johan hardship started early. When his Prostitute Mother was killed by an over abusive customer when he was only seven, his Businessmen father, whom had a Family already, was unsympathetic and unwilling to openly take on the burden of a bastard, had him sent to the St. Brigid's Orphanage and being among the youngest in the orphanage, he and the rest of the kids his age grew accustomed to being bullied and beaten on by the older orphans who then stole their meager rations and bedding on cold winter nights. As he grew older and the growth spurts began, he took it upon himself to defend and protect the younger orphans.

He enlisted in the Irish Defense Forces/Army when he turned 18 and served in the Military Police Corps with the intentions of joining the Garda Síochána,(civilian Police Force) after his enlistment. Unfortunately, shrapnel from a Terrorist bomb blast caused him a serious enough leg injury that ended his Military Career and hopes of joining the Garda Síochána. Through the connections he made within the civilian Police Force, he learned of a young Madame whom had inherited a Brothel and its girls after the sudden death of her Mother and whom was now embattled in a dispute with a local Crime Family, Griffin took an interest in the young Madame and combined with the vague memory of what his Mother went though, an unconcious dislke of Businessmen in positions power and need to protect those weaker then himself, he used his compensation money to buy a majority in Ciara O'Doherty's Brothel, then moved the entire operation into another business venture of a Hotel/Nightclub after the Crime Family that was causing Problems for the young Madame was subsequently taken over by the Duffy Crime Family.

She can often be found in the gym competing with them for physical fitness. When you piss her off, a simple apology will spare you physical pain, but she's the type to hold a grudge. At work, she's very focused and has a one track mind.
