Much more than a terrorist attack. And then there's also the graphic novel "V for Vendetta" in which the protagonist idolizes Guy Fawkes and his ideologies. 

But even more than that, if we're talking about Roleplayerguild Guild history, November 5th (I believe 2011) was the day Code Guru was banned. Chaos ensued. It was loads of fun.
