I think what he means is a former Red King who stopped caring for the guild, which caused it to fall apart, and when he came back he lost all former authority (Possibly because a new Red Guild was made). Now he might be trying to be the Red King again, now that the former Red King has been killed.

But as Windel said, there [b]was[/b] a Red King up till recently. He was killed in real life, thus leaving the position as the Red King open.
