Bio/Background: Carl was born in Latvia, by a russian father and a latvian mother. When he was 14, he and his family moved to Russia. In 1986 he was enrolled in USSR army where after 6 months of training he was sent to Afganistan during Cold War. He stayed there until 1989 when all soldiers were sent back. He went back to Latvia enrolling in Latvian institute of math and computer science, finishing it with doctors grade in 1993. He took part in the diversy visa lottery and won, hoping to get a Green Card (American citizenship). He got a job as a computer technician at a small bank in Macon. Nine years later in 2003 he moved to Atlanta becoming a computer science teacher at the local Hign School. At the time he got interested in guns. He even purchased an FN Five-seveN, for range shooting, making it his most valuable possesion ranging at
the price of 1035 USD. When the apocalypse began he joined a group in Atlanta, they later received news of a new community forming in Woodburry, Georgia (52 Miles away). They moved there. Life was peacefull, until Carl found a secret their Mayor hid from them. He packed all of his stuff and during the night snuck out. With no goal and destination he became a drifter, scavenging what he could find, he decided to mindlessly head North.
