I could ship the trio together but only if Ron had a lot of development cause man, after book four, I hated him. I don't see why Hermione would tolerate his BS. I didn't feel very attached to any of Ron's family. I know everyone loves Fred and George but I never saw their charm beyond the trope of two older brother jokesters. I wish we got more about Cho, I could have put her with Ron or maybe even Neville. I did like the idea of Hermione & Snape or Lupin, in regards to teacher student. But daaaamn I shipped Snape and Harry for so long, so hard. I was so young back then but I was a big Snarry shipper until I figured out Harry and Hermione make more realistic sense. Urgh. I wonder when they'll both develop their beginning feelings. I think Katniss is a bit closer since she already admires Haymitch, probably more so after hearing his story in the arena. So if the two wanted to snuggle up and avoid some of the crap in the arena, it might be more acceptable. I don't know how the Capital would react but I could see people shipping them, and Gale and Prim cause there is bound to be shippers who watch the Games. As a headcanon, I bet Katniss would never let anyone but Haymitch call her 'sweetheart' if Peeta or Gale tried, she'd probably get pissed off. <333 Though thanks to your Prim, it's a lot easier to enjoy her than in the books. I do like writing with or as characters I don't understand or enjoy which might be why I like developing Ron so much (just not with Hermione heh) or say, Sasuke Uchiha. It's fun to develop roles to better accept them. That's a good one too. I also don't mind mother's bf x daughter, though you can thank Fish Tank for that one. Woo. Or doctor x patient, intelligence is always sexy and as long as roles aren't poorly developed, it shouldn't become a smutfest. With Katniss, I never saw her liking anyone either. *nods* I didn't see why we needed forced romance there when Finnick's story and Haymitch's were so lovely. If you read Haymitch/Katniss fics, it's all angst with her drinking and being sad with him. I'm really glad we can break out of that 'norm' here. Who says they can't have a happy relationship and cope in other ways besides binge drinking? They understand each other but not in a pandering sort of way. I think the same could be said for Gale and Prim too, you'd think he and Prim did/could get close in the books, trying to cheer each other up while watching Katniss... Nooo, you're getting a post tonight damnit. It's not even that late for me...maybe two more paragraphs. And plotting is good, once plotting stops, it's kind of hard to gauge interest and direction. :3
