Last minute character sheet (mostly finished): Name: Makise Emi Age: 16 Sex: Female Height/Weight: Appearance:

Classification: Esper (ESPER ONLY) Ability:
Name: Portfolio Change Ability Level: 4 Ability Type: ESP Range: - Maximum number of targets: 1 person Description: The unique and poorly understood ability to freely manipulate one's own Personal Reality. In a fundamentally similar way to AIM Stalker, Portfolio Change facilitates the recording of data input into other esper's Personal Realities, allowing the information that makes an esper an esper to be perfectly catalogued. The difference in abilities is, in all truthfulness, minimal. However, this minimum difference in the microcosm produces maximum differentiation in the macrocosm. Whereas the esper in possession of AIM Stalker, Takitsubo Rikou, can only use this recorded information to track other espers by the unique emissions of their AIM Fields (see case files for further details), the esper in possession of Portfolio Change is capable of actively using this information to alter their own Personal Reality to match the data input of other espers, regardless of a difference in level or fundamental ability. Mannerisms are copied alongside abilities as a result of the user completely switching out the data they have input into their own Personal Reality, producing a perfect imitation. Portfolio Change seems to still recognize a sense of self when this happens, and will continue referring to themselves as usual, and retains an unbroken linear continuity of past memories. Originally, the results of the research done on this ability and its user produced the first generation of Rensa cyborgs, which were inspired by attempts to artificially recreate this ability in a controlled environment. The attempts were ultimately unsuccessful, but a similar result was obtained.
Notable Talents or Skills: Imitation, listening and watching Affiliation: Nagatenjouki Academy Occupation: Student, former test subject of the "Ability Hunter" project Personality: Has no real personality of her own. Instead, she imitates others, opting to adopt someone else's persona instead of exposing and developing her own. After years of this, whatever was left of her original personality (if she ever had one) has been all but lost, and even she can't remember the last time she expressed emotions that were her own. Background: A former Child Error who enrolled in the Power Program Curriculum in grade school. The unique and unusual ability she developed turned out to be a boon, and she was quickly raised out of the poverty line, enlisted in an elite middle school, and showered with the attention of scientists and think tanks eager to study her ability. However, despite her newfound power, wealth, and social standing, she never seemed genuinely happy with any of it. Or at least that was the opinion of half a dozen specialists who tried to make sense of her strange habit of mimicking other people instead of relying on her own persona. Outwardly, no one had any complaints. Anyone who worked with her could tell you she was the perfect little test subject, always eager and compliant to go along with whatever the scientists asked of her, but something about her always seemed... off. Eventually, the main project sponsoring her, "Ability Hunter", was shut down, and it was hoped she'd return to a mostly normal life. However, that doesn't seem to be the case...
