[/quote] I can see things from your perspective, too. We also don't celebrate Christmas with gifts either for similar reasons to Valentine's Day. (At least with each other -- we do buy presents for our families, who celebrate traditionally.) We do a lot of romantic things/gifts/surprises for each other throughout the year, so we just tend to go the opposite route on days when we're supposed to do those things. It's a bit backwards, perhaps, but it works for us. XD
