Well after that here is where I am at, since I didn't even know Rusalka's character was part vampire ill just throw the monster to human ratio out the door. Now maybe your master could be a member of the Blackguard with a similar condition, so he took pity on you were others would have killed you (work off of the werewolf's pack thing). The that is where your training comes from. As for settling down maybe having the home and wife while in the Blakguard with no real retirement stage just the times when he was off duty, or maybe for a period of time his skills as a blacksmith were needed more than for him as a fighter (doubtful, but could give you time off). And then once your family was dead you track the Vampire out of Hieledran and join with the group of Blackguard sent to join the Hunters with the plan to hunt him down and kill him. With this you can keep being a werewolf and all that such, but i would say switch the strength part to not super human use enhanced. werewolves are strong, but they are more known for their speed, and scenes more than strength. As for the guns, flintlock would be fine, sure it is powerful and will do some damage (killing little things almost instantly) but that only works if you hit the target in the right place and Flintlocks aren't known for their accuracy.
