[i] (: Yes. As far your characters know you are all just wandering puppies looking for friends or foes. 

Once the sorting hat makes his announcements; you can of course have friends from different houses- but as you know; some friendly rivalries and certain Hogwarts 'personalities' of houses may come through. Anyway- I'm super excited to start this with everyone :D
