”Kid stuff,” Eden murmured as she drove a Bentley out of a garage filled to the brim with various automobiles. The man who owned the mansion she’d entered had so many stupid cars he kept the keys in the door of each one. She’d made her way into the home fairly easily. He did have a pretty impressive alarm system. But it was not one she’d not encountered before. Within the home there was staff walking about, but there were so many rooms, she would just waltz into one or the other and not be seen. Apparently, the man was so arrogant he didn’t even have cameras set up inside his home, just outside. She’d looked. In his bedroom he’d had several paintings on the wall which she moved ever so slightly to look for a wall safe behind, and found one on the third painting. After that it was just a matter of rehashing every technique she’d ever used and finding stacks of bills and jewelry. The jewelry would be easily described to any detective the man decided to hire, so she simply slid the cash out she could carry and closed it up. When she’d gotten to the garage it dawned on her that the seemingly odd… ‘band of thieves’ meeting or whatever she’d been invited to was happening momentarily, so she’d taken a car just for fun. Now that car was roaming through town until she reached her destination. Pulling her cash filled purse on over her shoulder, she pushed her long dark hair back to her back away from her face, and took a quick look in the rearview mirror at herself. Not much makeup on, but she looked professional anyway. She got out of the car and her black pumps made a click on the concrete while she looked for this… red line. That was what the man had said wasn’t it? She had to admit when she tried stealing from this, Booker fellow and he’d simply seemed amused by her attempts to charm her way out of trouble, she’d been almost offended she hadn’t got away with it. But if everything with this was on the up and up, perhaps it had been luck that she hadn’t gotten away with it after all. Sighing a bit as she finally found the direction she was to be headed, she walked briskly, white pants swishing around her ankles until she reached a door where another, rather rough looking man stood. ”Well. Who might you be?” she asked, cat like eyes studying him in an only slightly amused expression.
