Pseudonym(s): Yëwe, Elof, Ndalma Gender: Male Height: 6”1 Age: 42 Race: Vatani Alignment: Ascendancy Physical descriptors: Elof (the appellation most commonly applied to him), is tall and lithe, with slender legs and lean musculature. His face is likewise thin, with an aquiline nose, skin of a dull dark grey, eyes of cold lavender, a set of small horns, a taut jaw, and long, cinnamon-hued hair. In short, his appearance is rather typical of Vatani males. Background: Elof’s appearance, however, is the extent of his typicality. Elof is of the Vrasës caste, the enigmatic order of Vatani assassins. Little, if aught, is known about his adolescence—a characteristic quality of the Vrasës. As with the Luftëtari, the acolytes of the Vrasës have carefully cultivated over the course of centuries the caste bloodline. The typicality of Elof’s face is no genetic accident—rather, its intent is obvious. The Vrasës are trained in not only martial and physical arts, but most effectively in the subtler arts of espionage, among them deception and infiltration. A plainer face is one more easily forgotten, or more simply accepted. However, unlike the Luftëtari, the individuality and curiosity of a Vrasës is not suppressed. Oftentimes, though Vrasës protocol is magisterial and encyclopedic, one cannot simply play it by the books in a precarious situation. Thus, not only is a Vrasës’ martial ability honed, but also most keenly their mental acuity and acumen. A Vrasës is the perfect amalgam of deadly force and cunning, capable of near unrivalled adaptability, range, variety, and efficacy. Elof’s career in the order has been one marked by continued success and elimination of high priority targets. For the bulk of his tenure he has worked in infiltrating the Vatani expatriate communities of NAR, particularly those with separatist or revolutionary leanings, as well as in conducting counter-espionage and devoting extensive research into the All-Party and their supposed affiliated terrorist cells in NAR. There is also rumor that he and his cohorts were in fact intricately involved with the bombing of Esmara--as apposed to the UF. With the inauguration of the Covenant, Elof’s superiors ordered him to ramp up his operations, particularly on New Arcturus and Aurolia, though warned him not to endanger the Covenant, at least for now. As he delves deeper into this web of espionage, he quickly finds himself beset on all sides, whether from NAR counter-spies, enigmatic transorganic agents whose allegiance is at best murky, or UF blackops. Personality: His true nature is probably unknown save for by his compatriots and superiors. Otherwise, his outward personality is mutable, ever adapting to new roles and situations. Skills/Abilities -Dexterous mental faculty -Well trained in both hand to hand and martial arts as well as munitions -Speaks a number of languages -Highly adaptable to new environments and situations -Biologically and synthetically augmented -Calculating and efficacious to a lethal degree Flaws -Few known for certainty. The life he has led and his specific line of work has bred in him, as in all Vrasës, a coldness and lack of center -Unflinchingly loyal to his own detriment, a lauded quality among the Vatani but one which may be somewhat undesirable in other races
