Name: Gilder

Goal: A mix of both, war can disrupt trade routes and makes the roads dangerous. However when war rages its spoils are both great and plentiful and the extra customers can always be appreciated. Domain: Coin, Commerce, Work, Patronage and Contracts Work hard and gather wealth and with it the world will bow to you- The Accounts of Gilder Powers: Honest Days Work: Gilder inspires his followers to work harder and faster and produce wondrous things all in the name of their merchant god. Honest Days Pay: Gilder takes the relationship between Employer and Employee very seriously and the quickest way to earn his ire is to cheat anyone and is a quick way to have the Tally-Men hunting you. Bound in Blood(And Ink): To make a deal with The Merchant is to be bound by your word and deed until such time as it has been fulfilled. To break these contracts is nigh impossible for mortals and difficult even for other gods. Artifacts: Gilders Scales: These scales are made from a portion of Gilders own essence and can measure anything from the weight of a measure to the truth of your words. One half of the scale is polished and burnished brass while the other half is scratched and rusted. The Tally-Men: The Tally-Men are constructs who follow the word of their master unwaveringly and fulfill the role of police and mediators in Gilders lands settling disputes and keeping the peace. Tally men look like a tall muscular human but with their head encased in a heavy metal safe. Territory: Gilders lands sit nestled in a mountain range on the coast which trends towards the cold and wet end of the spectrum and gets more temperate as you reach the ocean. his lands are sparsely populated with most of the population centered in the three large cities that form a line to the ocean and are known as the Jewels of Gilder. Kortmun is the smallest of the three great jewels and is situated the highest in the mountains its main feature is the Krakrock Mines from which flows a substantial amount of ore and other bounties of the stone which are sent down to the other great cities. Jotun is the middle and largest of the three jewels seated at the foot of the mountains it is the home of the great factories and Foundries that produce the myriad common consumer goods that are then sold to merchants and distributed to the other lands. The last of the Great Jewels is the city of Maravale it is home to the Merchants Guild and is referred to as the City of Coin as it is the center of the great trading houses of Gilders land and is home to the great Vaults which are said to hold more wealth than any man has ever beheld in his life. Other Info:
Arella: Art is pretty and in all pretty things there is value, what she creates people desire and he can distribute to them all for a nominal fee of course. Tyzitla: Necessary and of course useful for removing obstructions Gilder might face, though he wouldn't be trusted for his weight in gold. Esra: To be honest she scares him, her view is bereft of value or exchange and he honestly can't stand her. P'kegatu: Another one he dislikes her curses have stricken near his jewels but never in them but he feels that should an ardent enough prayer find her she wouldn't hesitate. Kaba: Respects her and has made many overtures in an attempt to open her lands to industrialization which she has been resisting. Azreal: He cares little for the god of death but understands his necessity, it is his children Gilder dislikes. Malag: Oddly enough Malag is one of Gilders biggest customers his lands are in constant need of goods and have provided a consistent and profitable venture if one that has occasionally cost him the whole caravan. Arguis: Gilder makes it a point to try to keep tabs on the god of chaos if only to steer his caravans away from him. Kun: Perhaps one of the gods he has had to deal with the most considering her domain he likes her and has traded secrets and artifacts before to ensure his ships safe passage over her waters.
