Poppy Flanagan Red decided to join their group, which was fine by Poppy. He was up there with Deborah when it came to the rating who she’d met so far. She wasn’t sure how to feel about her roommate Theresa anymore. At the comment about being a social butterfly she waved weakly and tried to put on a smile. Never had that word been used to describe her before. Poppy was timid until she got to know somebody, then she generally became more and more assertive as she became comfortable with things. A point at which she had not reached yet and wouldn't so long as the new faces kept rolling in. The latest edition was a guy who’d been hiding under a nearby table. Odd, but any formalities or thoughts on him were cut short by the lights going out. Poppy gripped the sofa tightly and let out a startled screech. This isn’t funny… This was the second time today she’d been left in the dark. It was a relief that Deborah had a light, because she didn’t. From what she gathered from the others this time was for real. She didn’t know where to go, but she did know that she didn’t want to be alone. Nicholas’s idea made her uneasy though. They had no idea what caused the power outage, and even if they found out what could they do about it? “I don’t know about that…” Poppy commented softly. There was also the fact that there wasn’t likely going to be any light near the source of all places. It wasn’t set in stone what they were going to do, and she had a feeling that her opinion wouldn't matter that much anyways. Going outside seemed like a better idea than sitting in a dark room though, so Poppy followed close behind Deborah.
