Okay, this scenario is getting really bad. It's not any fun, and the only IC resolution of this requires that someone end up dead: you can't expect people fervently opposed to selfish killing to just say "sure, it's fine to kill things"; Archer in particular has helped out an anti-vampire arm of the Church. I don't really want PvP, but you're basically insisting that it's better that everyone be IC than one character just not gloat in a particular way. Also, the current tracing would be White, not Blue. That's a holy blade in Archer's hands, there; Blue might generally govern artefact stuff but it doesn't have a monopoly on item-flavoured buffs. Anyway, this is more or less the only idea I have for a next post. I don't want to post it, and I'd rather this last half a dozen or so posts were just rescinded. However, with Sorin apparently keeping up with Archer and Saber in outright melee skill, and his self-admitted crimes? Not much else for it.
With Sorin backing off, and others intervening, Archer found that options for disposing of the vampire were rapidly closing. Somehow, the creature had deflected both his and Saber's attacks with a single sword stroke. It was implausible beyond belief and simply reinforced that he had to be eliminated now; something so obviously evil and so detrimental to the survival of others... potential use in gaining a wish to eliminate himself aside, allowing the bloodsucker to continue existing would be idiotic. The Golden Sword of the Victorious melted away, getting replaced immediately by a spear of the most vibrant red. It was a horrific weapon, but against someone with so many tricks up their sleeve, Gae Bolg was the best choice. Drawing on the experience instilled in the weapon by its most famous user, Archer struck. "Gae Bolg!" It was a pointless attack, merely aiming at Sorin's feet. Simply moving one aside would be more than enough to avoid the obvious attack--but by the time moving was an option, it was already too late. Simply calling its name meant that the heart got pierced and iron barbs flooded the body: the thrust was a mere confirmation of the attack's success. Even with truly unnatural luck and instinct, avoiding the spear's attack was impossible. Saber could bear testament to that.
