Uncharted Space Sisters detonated all around, as the explosives found their mark. Some attempted to dodge the tracking weapons, while others formed a sphere to protect themselves, but it was useless as non were able to survive the salvo. Black liquid hung in space, floating in globules, as all that remained of the search party was lost. Meanwhile, the surprise particle cannon attack caught the nearest Temple off guard, shearing through it's left most shield arm, boiling off chunks of metal and evaporating key areas of the plate. No longer functional, it screamed, and re-coordinated it's defenses to compensate for the new weak spot. As it's ablative armor charged for their next attack, the Cruiser fired off several Void Warheads, arching and spinning around each other as they curved and drew a line towards the attacking vessel, bright purple and dangerous looking. Each warhead sought out a specific target on the hull, in an attempt to cripple the ship, for these Temples were not equipped with the Stasis Field systems used to ensnare targets. As this species had never been encountered before, it was impossible to know how much damage they would do, if any at all. The second Temple, meanwhile, converted itself to the standard Conduit ship, matrons forming the gravity well minefield around the vessel as they did at New Condia, and begin beaming a distress signal, to notify the Home Fleet of the new contacts. Mars Tiy beamed a warm smile at the onlookers, as Sage darted about them, floating up to them and studying them. "They don't see aliens very often, I am guessing?" "Most likely, Sage. You should not scare them like that." "But it's fun..." "Back here. Now, Sage." AS they joined back together, they suddenly registered screaming and panic through out the crowd, as the guards aimed weapons at various civilians. "What's going on? Are we under atta-" The Warden was cut off, as she was tackled to the ground and there was a deafening and violent explosion. Sage had floated out the way of the guard, and would have been blown to pieces by the explosion, if physical matter and energy had any effect on him. He watched the man explode, and floated down to notify the Warden. "They are attacking each other! But why!?" She got up, and ran after the soldiers, feet pounding in the ground and magical energy wisping around her hand, ready to attack any ohter aggressors. "Not now. Get to the ship!"
